The adoption symbol is a heart intertwined with the adoption triad (triangle) which represents: the birth parents, adoptive parents and the child (adoptee) BUT I wanted to reimagine the adoption symbol with more than three sides because as we know, adoption impacts more than the adoptee, birthparents, and adoptive parents…when I considered that concept I envisioned a mountain range with all of it’s peaks and crevasses. It just seemed fitting.
