As an adoptee, birthmom in an open adoption, and kinship adoptive mama I guess you could say adoption has been very heavily woven throughout my life but my experience as a birthmother has easily been the journey to impact me the most. It's been nearly 20 years since I made an adoption plan and much has changed, consideration for the birthmother being one of the most poignant. Even under the best conditions, placing a child will likely be the hardest thing a woman will ever walk through ... that's why I created these cards.
With a background in art and an unquenchable love for writing I have spent many years combining these creative outlets in different ways to share the things closest to my heart and aid in my own healing journey.
